Tim, Jess, Chris and Nicky played the first round of the P&D mixed doubles knockout match against Yelverton. We went with hopes of enjoying some good tennis and we were not disappointed. All matches had a variety of long rallies, well placed shots and hard won points. Tim and Jess won both events in games which were closer than the results showed. Chris and Nicky, playing together for the first time, clinched a set from the second pair which was enough for us to win the match overall 5 sets to 4.
